Day #10 Cute slippers for each of us!! Mine said "let it snow" on the feet.
Day #11 Aprons for each of us!!
Day #12 Yummy cookies on a "Cookies for Santa" plate!
Can you guess who the Christmas Giver is?? I took some brownies to my sister Thelissa's house to 'pay it forward' ....err....was I 'paying it backward'???
Sure enough, she handed me a plate of cookies in exchange for the brownies and said, "Thanks, you're saving me a trip."
THANKS THELISSA!!!!

"The Christmas Giver"
My roommates and I have a Christmas Giver!! Following the tradition of the 12 days of Christmas, each day we receive something new on our doorstep! It is so fun! I anticipate what will be there each day. Here's the collection so far:
Day #8: Wrapping Paper for each of us!...hummm...the Christmas Giver knows all of our names! Unfortunately for Teresa, she had just done all her wrapping the night before...lol. But, me and Emily are excited to use it! Emily was excited that the gift had her name on it!
Stay tuned to find out what the Christmas Giver will bring next!!!

Something else new for the Townhome!!
So what do you think of my new buffet table??! :) The idea is that mirror will hang about 2 or 3 inches above the table.
Here is a view from on the stairs...
Also notice that I added light dimmers to most of the lights! It's beautiful and it was a pretty cheap addition that made so much of a difference!

Sue, Marilyn, and Me
Almost 4 years ago I left working for the "Education in Zion" Exhibit project at BYU. It was an exhibit that would be housed in the Joseph F. Smith Building on campus. It was an amazing experience working there.
While I worked there I met some great people who have remained my friends for life.
This is Sue Peterson, Marilyn Miles, and me. Sue was hired onto the project to help write up the stories that would be made into exhibit pieces. Marilyn was brought on as a missionary. It was her stake calling to be there serving.
Every 6 months (at Conference time) we get together at IHOP to catch up. It is so fun! A lot happens to all of us in 6 months time! We always chat chat chat for hours. The tradition has been going on for 4 years now.
We are all in such different stages in our lives. Marilyn's husband passed away years ago, Sue has 6 daughters that are now being married off left and right, and then there's me....still in the dating stage.
It so fun to learn from each other and just laugh. Even though we are in different stages of life, we find that situations and our stories are not so different at all. The same principles are applied no matter what age.
Here we are. Sue is on the left, Marilyn is in the middle.
We have so much fun!

Painting!!
So, I've never really painted any part of a house for my own project before. It was so fun!! It was scary to pick colors a first but they worked out so well! Thanks to Craig who helped me a ton!! I wouldn't have really known what to do or where to start otherwise!
Here are some pictures along the way and then the final product!!!

TOWNHOME!!
Yes, I finally bought my own place! It is so fun. It's been such a crazy month preparing for the move, the move itself, and the aftermath of unpacking, etc. It's hard to do all that AND keep a full time job going, and everything that comes as part of normal life. But, I am finally getting settled and making the place look great!
A few pictures of the inside!
I took this picture in the mirror before moving in. It was hard to frame up but this one actually worked. lol.
Feel free to come visit!!
