Well, I can't post much about the upcoming program we've been working on. I wish I could show you the awesome stage in the Conference Center. But I can show a little bit of what I've been up to in preparing my part.
First of all we have been collecting tapes from around the world, of youth bearing testimony. Where needed, we've also done some filming here locally to supplement the submissions.
We filmed on BYU campus in order to have testimonies from Young Adults as well. This is Cody (one of our Intellectual Property Assistants) and Rachel (Production Assistant) displaying the legal signs for the students who would walk by.
Then began the editing! Travis Eberhard is my editor for this show. He does an awesome job and works very fast.
Then, there has been the filming for the "behind the scenes" video that will also be played at the event. We have been taping choir rehearsals, orchestra rehearsals, auditions, youth discussion groups, host rehearsals, etc...
Then there has been the logistics like keeping tapes labeled, finding b-roll video, having paperwork signed for video participants, gathering usable images, etc. This is Rachel and I figuring out the tape situation.
It's been fun to be able to meet people from around the world. We interviewed a youth from Hong Kong named Joseph.
More editing with Travis....
Then began the rehearsals...
As a temporary set-up, we practice with the video through a rear projector.
At the tech rehearsal, Travis and I ran the video from back stage.
This is where I sit during the show, it is where we control everything.

Tam, It was a fabulous production!!!! I loved it - and I know the youth that we were sitting by loved it! I was very impressed. This is something that the youth today can relate too. I love how 21,000 just the night we were there were touched by it. I can't believe all the millions that will be touched by it. I say "Bravo" to all who produced it, and performed in it. :)
Tam that looks amazing. You are such a professional! I would love to hear more about it! Way to go!
You do look so professional- I'm impressed. I'm also retarded because I can't get your video to play. I'm at work right now- so I'll have to have Jeremy help me when I get home.
Tam - Great to find your site! I was able to see you in the new Hinckley movie this weekend at the JSM. I wrote a review on my site - and invite you to come read it.

Another WOW! Thank you for making the New Years program such a tremendous success. My daughters loved it! Very fun to see some photos. So cool!
Tam, you have the coolest job. I always knew you'd go far. Good luck finding Mr. Right. You remind me Karidee. There are few men out there that are worthy of you. Check out my blog at www.thencbigmacs.blogspot.com
That looks like an amazing show. I'm so envious of all the cool projects you get to work on. And neat that you work with Travis...I remember seeing him around BYU all the time when I was a student there. It all seems like so far in the past now!
(I thought I did write a comment before on here. I wonder if it didn't post for some reason.)I can't believe what a huge production this was! You get to do neat stuff all the time. Thanks for the videos!
So cool that you are working on stuff like this Tam! I have a new idea to run past you. Not a church video thing... A Levi video thing, though maybe it could become something...hmmm...
Tam!
Brandon and the youth from our stake were there (which wasn't surprising, seeing as David Warner is our SP!) and he said it was great. :)
